We recently marked the successful completion of two of our flagship courses from the UNESWA AI Academy: the third cohort of Generative AI for Educators and the inaugural cohort of Mastering Generative AI for Professionals.
We’re incredibly proud of the more than 200 participants who completed these programs. The demand for these skills is clear, with participants joining us not just from Eswatini, but from across the region, including Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Nigeria.
The event also marked the official launch of our newest offering, Generative AI for the Legal Profession, a course designed specifically for the unique needs of the legal sector. This is just the beginning of our work to equip all sectors of the economy with the AI skills needed for the future.

Generative AI for Teachers - Cohort 2
We celebrated the second cohort of the Generative AI for Educators Certificate programme!
This programme is all about using AI to boost economic development and skills in Eswatini, aligning with UNESWA’s strategic plan for innovation and growth.
Our graduates received comprehensive training in AI literacy, responsible AI use, prompt engineering, and so much more. We’re so proud of the 151 participants who successfully completed the course, including those who joined us from Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Nigeria! Your dedication is truly inspiring.
